Stools

I challenged myself to make four identical bar stools for our kitchen island. I chose an ash base and an oak seat. The first design looked nice on paper, but a full-scale elaboration showed that the legs were much too coarse. I then made two MDF moulds from the modified design, one for the legs and one for the seat. With this I could mill the parts into shape with a copy milling machine.
The legs and seat are finished with 45º-edge milling cutters. The whole is oiled.
